Each year the 57th Street Children's Book Fair begins with a parade featuring a cast of storybook characters led by our own Mother Goose and the Kenwood High School drum line. Keep a look out for Bad Kitty, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Geronimo Stilton, The Wild Thing and our own Book Fair Cat. Our economics essay writing service at https://mid-terms.com/informative-economics-essay-writing/ is ready for new orders and long-time projects.
The Fair also features live entertainment echoing a love of reading through storytelling, music & dance. Performances take place on three stages for an entire afternoon of entertainment for all ages. Two story rooms (The Fairy Tale Room and the Great Green Room) feature interactive performances and readings, so there's always something going on.
While the selection of entertainers varies from year to year, here are a few who join us often:
The Chicago Storytelling Guild
Chris Fascione, storyteller
Denise Berry Hanna, storyteller
Hyde Park Dance
Kenwood High School Jazz Band
Mama Edie, storyteller
Mayfair Dance Company
